Have been looking at travel cubes for a long time now but wasn't sure I wanted to invest in them. Found a coupon code so it would cut down on the cost - so I decided to grab a set.

My daughter does a lot of traveling and camps where the clean clothes need to be separated from the worn (and sometimes stinky) - I picked one of our medium sized suitcases and these bright blue travel cubes will fit in nicely when full. I really like the different sizes to hold different items. The traveling cosmetic/toiletry bag is a little smaller than it looked but it will work well for travel toiletries and has room for normal items and well as cosmetics and has two zippered sizes as well. The included silicone squeeze bottles in "pretty colors" was a nice plus. They did have a small plastic smelling odor when unpacked so we are airing them out before our next trip next week. They are nice thickness so they are not cheap feeling at all and I played with the zippers very time and appear to be well made. We will still use the traditional summer camp (Ziploc bags for dirty laundry) but the cubes will help keep items organized. My daughter would love to see a Camo pattern.

It's been a while since we went camping, but last time was a group camping trip.  We had nine girls - some families and not nearly enough lanterns.   I love my Coleman Camping lantern and was looking for something similar as Pep has officially attached it to her Girl Scout Camping Gear.  I was looking for something not as expensive or heavy but still sturdy.

I found these AlltroLite lanterns on a site and received a coupon code so I thought I would give them a try.   They shipped via Amazon Prime and arrived within three days.   They had no packaging or estimate time of lighting time.  There is one black one and one blue one and came with batteries.  They are incredibly bright which will work great when camping or when the power goes out.   The clear plastic on both items is a little scuffed but they are very lightweight and as none of the scratches are deep,  I will keep them.  Will probably put one in my daughter's camping gear (to get my Coleman back and keep the other upstairs incase of a power outage.
